Personal resilience always has been and always will be an essential leadership skill. Resilience provides us with the calm, clarity, and time to make sensible decisions. Resilience means we can project calm and clarity to those around us. And our personal resilience can help us push through the darkest times in our lives and business. But what about when the entire world is facing a crisis, lacking confidence, and everyone is anxious? This has been a growing reality for a number of years, but in the wake of COVID-19, resilience on a massive scale is being tested more than ever. In this presentation I will discuss what you can do to boost your resilience and be the leader that helps their team (and loved ones) feel more resilient too.

To get the next opportunity you are after, YOU NEED TO BE NOTICED. How can you build yourself a string of opportunities to protect yourself in times such as these? How can you get yourself that important decision-making position so you can influence the things that you know matter right now? If you’re ready to up-level, get into a job you love, or get that promotion, then you need to be making sure you are visible. And honestly, with 700 million+ people on LinkedIn, LinkedIn is one of the most important places to be visible. Ready to build a brilliant LinkedIn Profile so that you can get opportunities, and leverage, while you sleep? Join me as I share with you some myths that need busting and some top tips to stand out from the noise on the only networking platform that decision makers in the world’s biggest firms consistently use.

Toni Collis

Ever find yourself doubting your competence, paralysed by self-doubt or worried about your performance? Are you running up to work feeling like a fraud? You may be experiencing impostor syndrome. These feelings obviously don’t feel good, but there are also real, tangible consequences to not addressing them, including:
  • Impostor syndrome is the number one cause of burnout
  • You may be passed over for promotion, new projects, or leadership opportunities because you aren’t sharing your worth and putting your name forward.
And that’s not to mention the insomnia and health consequences that go hand-in-hand with feeling like a fraud at work. In this presentation I’ll be sharing some simple actions to help you overcome fear of negative criticism, become more assertive and self-assured, take braver actions, and look for rationality and logic instead of fear in the face of a lack of confidence.
